Sega Genesis Classics Coming To Nintendo Switch

Set to come out this winter, the Sega Genesis Classics collection is coming to the Switch. Already released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, this anthology of over 50 retro games from the Genesis/Master System includes some of the greatest games of the 16-bit era, including Sonic the Hedgehog, and Streets of Rage.

From Shoot 'Em Ups like Super Thunder Blade to Adventure games like Landstalker, this collection should appeal to the most hardcore of retro gamer. It even includes all three of the Phantasy Star games released on the Sega Genesis.

While we wait on Sega to release this collection for the Nintendo Switch, it'll be interesting to see how they handle their Sega Ages games, which seem to be updated ports of their classic games. Two Sega Ages titles are set to release in Japan tomorrow on 9/20, Sonic the Hedgehog and Thunder Force IV, but not release date has been set for the west.
