TurboGrafx-16 Mini Announcement

Konami, who own the rights to Hudson Soft, has unveiled a plug and play system that’s in the works! The TurboGrafx-16, which was Hudson’s way of competing with Nintendo and Sega back in the early 90’s is going to be coming with pre-loaded games, such as Alien Crush, Dungeon Explorer, New Adventure Island, Ninja Spirit, R-Type, and Ys Book I & II. Konami confirmed that there would be a multi-tap sold to allow up to five players to play games such as Dungeon Explorer. While Bonk hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’’s very likely we’ll see the large headed cave man as well. Currently there is no release date, and no set number for how many games will appear, except that it will be more than the current list.
