A Day in the Life of JazzE: Queue Times

I write to you all today not necessarily with a story but with a question. How long should you have to wait after the estimated queue time in a queue before you exit and re-enter?

I was sitting in a queue for League of Legends today that had an estimated queue time of 1m:29s. As the queue ran all the way up to 5m:15s until I was invited to the game it made me wonder what everyone else does in this situation. I have heard that sometimes the queue bugs and you need to exit and re-enter for it to properly work. Have you ever ran into a situation like this gaming? What did you do?
